  • We can provide a monthly superbill that you may submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

  • To find out what your insurance may cover, contact your insurance provider to ask if you have out-of-network mental health coverage.

    Be sure to ask about Licensed Professional Counselors, to ensure services with our type of credentials are covered.

  • A minimum of 24 hours notice in advance of your session is required to cancel. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full session fee for the missed session.

Some clients find weekly sessions most beneficial, while others prefer bi-weekly or monthly sessions. Our counselors will work collaboratively with you to determine a schedule that suits your needs.

  • Our counseling fees vary based on factors such as session length and type, as well as any specialized services required. We strive to make counseling accessible so please reach out to our office for specific pricing information.

  • Yes, client confidentiality is of utmost importance to us. We adhere to strict professional ethics and legal guidelines to protect your privacy. Information shared during counseling sessions is kept confidential unless there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or if required by law. Our counselors will discuss confidentiality in detail during your initial session.

  • During your first counseling session, your counselor will create a safe and welcoming environment for you to share your concerns, goals, and experiences. They will ask questions to better understand your needs and develop a personalized treatment plan. This session also provides an opportunity for you to ask any questions and get to know your counselor.

  • It’s totally normal to be nervous about starting therapy. It can be scary to think of opening up or crying in front of someone new, perhaps fearing that it will be awkward and uncomfortable. The fear around that can feel overwhelming. It takes courage to start going to therapy. The fact that you are on this website, looking for help, and reading this right now shows that you are being brave and seeking help.

    Therapy is a space where you can be yourself and come just as you are, including feeling nervous. I’m committed to finding a way to care for your nervousness and ensure sessions are as comfortable as possible.

  • It's natural to not want to share some of the painful or difficult things we've been through. During our sessions, it will always be up to you if you feel ready to talk about something or not. I'll be there to guide you towards discovering what feels comfortable for you to share. Working within your pace, we can look at the tough stuff if you're ready.

    You can also share with me that you are nervous to open up about something, and we can talk about that too. Whatever is present for you, whatever you are going through, bring that to session and we can explore that together

  • If you open up to me, I will not think you are too sensitive, I will think you are courageous and human. Many of my clients have had the same fear--that people would think they are too sensitive.

    Working with my clients has shown me that the challenges you are facing are normal and natural.

    You're not being dramatic or "too much." Nothing you can say will cause me to judge you.

    I know nobody's perfect, we all struggle, we may have normal reactions to abnormally challenging experiences.
