My Clients: Male Teenagers and Adults

Building community as an adult can feel surprisingly hard, especially in a world that’s increasingly digital and constantly changing. I know what it’s like to feel out of place. Growing up in a military family meant moving often, adapting to new environments, and learning how to connect with people from many different cultures and backgrounds. As a person of color, those experiences were sometimes challenging, but they also gave me a deep appreciation for the complexity of people’s stories and the importance of feeling seen and understood.

Those experiences shape the way I show up as a therapist. I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable being fully themselves—whether they’re navigating life’s storms, celebrating moments of growth, or simply trying to figure out where they belong. I’m especially passionate about supporting individuals and communities who may not have traditionally felt welcomed into therapy spaces, and I believe seeking support should never carry shame or stigma. At the end of the day, everyone deserves someone they can talk to honestly and openly.

Outside of work, I’m usually spending time with my wife and our puppy, rewatching classic movies, or passionately following Baltimore Orioles baseball. I still believe there’s a surprising amount of wisdom hidden in old films, and I’ll gladly talk baseball with fans of any team— even rivals."
