She/Her

You’ve arrived home with your wonderful little bundle of joy. So why don't you feel so wonderful? Maybe you feel like you’re drowning in piles of laundry, bottles always needing to be washed, and ever-growing to-do lists. Maybe your relationship with your partner has shifted in ways you didn’t anticipate. Maybe the “baby blues” are more intense or longer-lasting than you expected and you’re wondering if this could be postpartum depression or anxiety. It’s normal to feel overwhelmed, unprepared, and flat-out exhausted during this brand new phase of your life, while friends, family and society may be pressuring you to “enjoy every minute!” It’s also normal to need help managing the rollercoaster of emotions that can come with being a new parent.

I know from personal experience how difficult and isolating those early days of parenting can be. Whether you’ve just had your first child, are a seasoned veteran in the parenting trenches, or are struggling with infertility or loss, I’m here to walk with you through these challenges.  I approach therapy from a strengths-based and trauma-informed perspective, aiming to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for parents of all backgrounds.

After we meet, I want you to feel not only seen and heard, but also that you have the tools to immediately begin feeling better. You’ve already made the first courageous step. Let’s keep going. Call or email to ask about an appointment. I look forward to hearing from you!
